KITTENS 2024

2024 has been an unprecedented year for shocking numbers of kittens in need of help.

These are a few of our short videos, showing just some of the beautiful babies we have had in our care.

Caring for kittens takes an awful lot of work. Some are orphaned and need round the clock hand rearing, others come into us sick and require medication and extra care. Pregnant and nursing mums with litters also need extra care and a higher number of daily meals.

Kittens born outside are in immediate danger and are extremely vulnerable. This can mean numerous journeys to trap and collect them and their mums in order to bring them into safety. Not all of these mums are used to being handled, so our team of cat whisperers need to work hard to bring them round and help them to trust humans, often for the first time in their lives.

When rescues have a lot of kittens, it means they have a huge amount of extra work on their hands.

Homing them is the final stage.

When people offer loving homes it is the happy ending we have worked towards and hoped for, and we appreciate this enormously every single time.
